Are you or are you not a Scan Hog?

Are you a scan hog? First let me explain what that is. I work at Sonic and there are those few people who feel they have to scan 100% of the time. if there is a scan they will literally run across the store just for that one scan.

These people do get under my skin, but the people who DIG under my skin are the people who will not scan simply for the fact that they are lazy.

I was told by my boss that i was being evaluated for a promotion. He mentioned some things that I should focus on improving. One of those things is to stay and help inside before going to scan. Some people feel that I am not doing my part, but I disagree because i am inside bagging the food, making drinks, and clean a lot! They get frustrated with me because they are lazy and don’t want to scan. I get the feeling that if we were to switch places then the cleaning and other thing would not get done. So if they want to get angry with me all i can say is go right ahead. I’m going to do what I need.

Are You Fake?

One thing I really can’t stand is fake people. I don’t understand why you have to make yourself something your not just for the approval of a few people. I say a few because most people don’t like fake people so why would you do that? You can tell when people are being fake, well most of the time at least. You can tell if they dress different or talk different. One thing i hate more than those people are the people who like they’re just waiting for you to tell them something so that they can go behind your back. Fake people are stupid to me. Just grow up and live the life you want.

Why Don't You Just Say It?

I’m the kind of girl that likes it when the guy makes the first move. I don’t understand why guys don’t tell you if they like you. What the worst that could happen, they say they don’t feel the same way? I know I don’t like rejection but everyone eventually gets over it. It just makes no since to me why they don’t say anything. Almost every guy i have met tells girls straight out, so why doesn’t he? Its seems so stupid to me.

Adult Thumb Sucker

It's normal for a child to suck their thumb, but when do they grow out of it? For some it six or seven, for others it maybe twelve. We are all different but we all usually grow out of it eventually. Then there are the few who are teenagers/adults. You see them in your classroom, in the office, walking down the streets and you just stop to think how gross that is. To me there is nothing more sickening then sticking a dirty finger in your mouth for comfort. Plus you look so childish when you do it. If you ever want people to take you seriously you defiantly do not suck your thumb while you talk to them.
